December 3rd 2006 7:30am-10am..
John Q rides his KTM as the official 'Pace Bike' for L.A. 1st annual Half Marathon. The race went from the north side of Griffith Park, thru dirt jogging trails, under tunnels, over bridges, by the L.A. river...over the Hyperion Bridge passing Silver Lake, up Sunset passing Echo Park lake, to down town L.A. where the 13 mile race ended...5,000 runners behind you can be a thrilling ride...
It was fun being escorted by L.A.P.D. and riding all over the road and in prohibited areas....a chance of a lifetime!
